Troubleshooting & best scanning tips
If the camera doesn’t start
- Ensure you are visiting the site over HTTPS (most browsers block camera on HTTP).
- Allow camera permission when prompted; if denied, reset it in site settings.
- Switch cameras (front/back) or try a different browser.
If scanning is slow or failing
- Move closer until the QR is sharp, then hold steady for a second.
- Avoid glare. Try a slight angle change or lower brightness.
- For printed codes, increase contrast and keep a visible “quiet zone” border.
Security reminder: QR codes can hide malicious links. Always verify the URL before opening it, especially if the code was placed in public.
